MoVal art programs returns

Date:

Moreno Valley is again accepting applications from local artists who would like to have their work shown in city facilities.

The city’s annual Art Loan program accepts family-friendly pieces from anyone who lives or works in Moreno Valley, to be displayed in the council chamber, library or several other locations, according to a statement on the city’s website.

“Moreno Valley is full of gifted artists, and over the years we have been fortunate to exhibit many pieces of amazing local artwork,” said Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez in the statement “I am looking forward to showcasing the incredible talents of our local artists in city facilities.”

The submittal deadline is April 25.

All pieces will be displayed from May through August.

Applications are available at www.moval.org/artloan.

For more information call the parks and community services department at (951) 413-3701.
