Murrieta Man Suspected Of Molesting Minor

MURRIETA, CA — A Murrieta man was released from custody after he was arrested earlier this month on suspicion of molesting a local teenage girl, authorities said.

An investigation remains ongoing into Joshua Alan Richie, 37, who was released from custody on Oct. 10 after posting a $5,000 bond, according to the Murrieta Police Department.

Officers received reports on Oct. 8 that the suspect had possibly made sexual advances and intimately touched a teenage minor. The victim’s identity wasn’t released and specific details were not available.

Richie was arrested on the following charges: One count of annoying or molesting a child under the age of 18, and one count of sexual battery.
