On January 19, 2021, about 7:01 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Moreno Valley Station, responded to the report of a major injury traffic collision at the intersection of Cottonwood Avenue and Day Street, in the city of Moreno Valley. Deputies arrived on-scene to find a two-vehicle traffic collision involving a gray BMW and a red Nissan, with the BMW’s driver and passenger suffering from moderate to major injuries.

On Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 10:03 PM, members of the San Gorgonio Special Operations Regional Gang Task Force (Region 2) were in the area of West Wilson Street and 8th Street in the City of Banning. They observed a vehicle failing to stop at several stop signs and traveling at a high rate of speed. Task Force Officers attempted to conduct a traffic stop on the vehicle, but the vehicle failed to stop.
Driving under the influence is a criminal offense in all states, which means anyone convicted of a DUI will have a criminal record when all is said and done. The thing is, most people arrested for DUI are hardly criminals in the real sense of the word. More often than not, they’ve never run afoul of the law, and they don’t have a criminal record anywhere.
