Testimony from two police officers was heard Monday in the ongoing trial here in Riverside County Superior Court for a trio of alleged gang members who are accused of killing a man in September of 2017.
On Friday, November 12, 2021, at 11:30 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force with the assistance of Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Special Enforcement Bureau conducted a vehicle stop at Los Felices Circle and San Rafael Road in Palm Springs.
On Tuesday, December 22, 2020, at 6:00 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force (CVVCGTF) with the assistance of Riverside County Sheriff’s Department SWAT, United States Border Patrol Tactical Unit (BORTAC), and the Coachella Community Action Team, served search warrants at three residences located in the 51000 block of Douma Street, the 52000 block of Calle Empalme, and the 53000 block of Cesar Chavez Street in the city of Coachella.
On Friday, September 11th, 2020, at 2:30 P.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force with the assistance of the Palm Desert Burglary Suppression Unit, Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team, Palm Desert Station Patrol, and and the California Highway Patrol K-9 Team concluded a follow up investigation in reference to a robbery that occurred on September 10th, 2020 in front of a business in the 73000 block of Ramon Road in Thousand Palms. During the incident the suspect struck a victim with a closed fist and took the victim’s chain necklace.
