The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing person, Henry Romero Jr (65 years old). Romero was last seen in the 25000 block of Echo Valley Road in Homeland on May 1, 2021, at approximately 3:00 AM. Romero is described as an Hispanic male adult, 5-feet, 5-inches tall, 120 pounds, gray hair, brown eyes, and a full beard. Romero has a scar on his abdomen, and was last seen wearing black shorts, a black shirt, and black hat.

This case is now being investigated as a homicide. Investigators arrested David Williams Jr., 27 years old out of North Palm Springs. The victim’s remains have not been recovered as of yet and this investigation is continuing. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department is asking anyone with information related to this case to please contact Central Homicide Investigator Joshua Manjarrez at (760) 393-3530 or (951) 955-2777.

On Sunday, August 2, 2020, at 4:25 PM, Wildomar deputies responded to a missing person call in the 21000 block of Pumice Lane, Wildomar. Deputies discovered Clyde Waynick, 81 years-old, voluntarily left his residence on August 2, 2020, about 7:00 AM.

Mason Drew Kohler, 31, was booked on felony murder, hit-and-run death, and DUI charges, according to the Riverside County jail roster, which lists a Hemet PD arrest at Palm Avenue and Commonwealth Avenue. Hemet police say two pedestrians on an electric scooter were struck there about 6:55 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 22; one was pronounced dead. Police have not named the driver, and the decedent's identity remains withheld.
