On Monday, November 29, 2021, deputies assigned to Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to the area of Railroad Canyon Road and Canyon Hills Road, regarding a stolen vehicle out of Long Beach. Deputies attempted an enforcement stop at which time a pursuit was initiated. The vehicle stopped in the 33000 block of Mist flower Court, the suspect fled the vehicle on foot into a ravine. The Riverside County Sheriff’s SWAT, K-9 Unit, and Aviation Unit arrived on scene and conducted an extensive check of the surrounding area for the suspect with negative results. The vehicle was recovered at the scene. As a precaution, schools in the area were placed on lockdown. Once the search was exhausted the lockdown was lifted. The incident remains under investigation and there’s no threat to the public.

On November 4, 2021, at 7:00 A.M., deputies assigned to the Southern Coachella Valley Community Service District Team (SCVCSDT) with the assistance of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT), the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), the La Quinta Special Enforcement Team (SET), and the Riverside Auto theft Interdiction Detail (RAID), served a search warrant at a ranch style property in the 87-800 block of Avenue 52 in the unincorporated area of Thermal.
On September 30, 2021 at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Region 4 Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force and members of the Murrieta Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) served a search warrant at a residence in the 40700 block of Vista Murrieta Road in the city of Murrieta.
On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, at 7:30 PM, Gang Task Force Officers from Region 2 assisted the Beaumont Police Department with conducting surveillance on a stolen vehicle that was parked in the parking lot of a business in the 1500 block of 2nd Street, in the City of Beaumont. Moments later, a male suspect who was later identified as Corey Parisi, a 35-year-old from the City San Jacinto, quickly got into the vehicle and sped off at a high rate of speed. A vehicle pursuit ensued, and Gang Task Force Officers took over the vehicle pursuit. With the assistance of the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Aviation Unit, Emergency Service Team Members, K-9 Unit, and the California Highway Patrol, the pursuit went from the City of Beaumont and into the City of Riverside.
