Felon in Possession of a Stolen Vehicle/Narcotics while Armed

On May 31st, 2021, personnel from the Colorado River Station conducted high-visibility patrol along the Colorado River, in conjunction with the Memorial Day weekend. The area patrolled stretches north to the San Bernardino County line, south to the Imperial County line, and east to the Arizona border.

Stolen vehicle recovery / School lockdown

Thermal Station deputies were dispatched to the area of Harrison Street and Avenue 61 in the unincorporated area of Thermal regarding an in-progress burglary to a nursery. The reporting party advised the suspects arrived in an older white Nissan pickup truck and were taking items from the location. With the help of a California Highway Patrol (CHP) aircraft, deputies located the white truck fleeing the area eastbound towards Polk Street. The CHP aircraft followed the pickup truck to the desert area northeast of Desert Mirage High School where the suspects left the vehicle and fled into the desert on foot.

Felony Evading / Stolen Vehicle

On Saturday, April 10, 2021 about 10:31 A.M., deputies with the San Jacinto Sheriff’s Station initiated a pursuit of a stolen vehicle. The driver, later identified as Noel Avalos (28 transient), fled from law enforcement and drove in a reckless manner. At about 1036 hours, the pursuing units discontinued the pursuit when the Sheriff’s helicopter was in place to follow the suspect.

Stolen Vehicle and Forgery

On January 28, 2021, at 9:08 PM, Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Officers from Region 2 conducted a traffic stop on a U-Haul box van in the 600 block of American Avenue in the City of Beaumont. A record check of the U-Haul’s license plate confirmed the U-Haul was a reported stolen vehicle.

Possession of Stolen Vehicle and Methamphetamine

On December 22, 2020 about 6:30 A.M. Riverside County Sheriff’s deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Station attempted to conduct an enforcement stop of a stolen vehicle in the area of Sumner Avenue and Limonite Avenue, in the city of Eastvale. The driver and front passenger exited the vehicle and fled on foot.
