Thousands of Dollars’ Worth in Stolen Property Recovered

On August 28, 2023, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a theft that occurred from a business in the 14500 block of Innovation Drive in Riverside. The victim reported several thousand dollars in tools and equipment were stolen along with vehicles belonging to the business. The Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Special Enforcement Team immediately began assisting in the investigation and began following-up on leads and surveillance video. During the investigation, a suspect was identified as Ingo Carrillo Gonzalez, a 43-year-old resident of Long Beach.

On October 11, 2023, deputies from the Moreno Valley Station’s Special Enforcement Team served a search warrant at Gonzalez’ residence, located in the 100 block of 31st Street, Long Beach. During a search of the residence, over fifteen thousand dollars’ worth of stolen property was recovered and later returned to the business. Two stolen tractors were also recovered and returned to their rightful owner. It was learned Gonzalez was arrested by the Alhambra Police Department on October 10, 2023, and currently remains in custody in Los Angeles County. Additional follow-up will be conducted, and charges will be filed with the Riverside County District Attorney’s Office related to the crimes Gonzalez committed while in Riverside County.
