Two Juveniles Arrested in Robbery Investigation

On June 21, 2022, at 7:00 A.M., members of the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), with the assistance of the Southern Coachella Valley Community Service District Team (SCVCSDT), served a search warrant at a residence located in the 53-500 block of Cesar Chavez in the city of Coachella. The search warrant stemmed from an armed robbery incident which occurred in the 53-000 block of Calle Camacho, in the city of Coachella, on June 14, 2022. During the search of the residence, CCAT deputies located stolen property taken during the robbery as well as two non-serialized handguns which are believed to be the weapons used during the commission of the robbery.

A 15 year-old documented criminal street gang member male juvenile was arrested for armed robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony, possession of a non-serialized firearm, possession of methamphetamine, possession of narcotics while armed, juvenile in possession of a firearm, juvenile in possession of ammunition, and possession of a firearm with a threaded barrel.

A 15 year-old documented criminal street gang member male juvenile was arrested for armed robbery, conspiracy to commit a felony, and a felony warrant for burglary.
