Felon in Possession of a Firearm

On Saturday, January 2nd, 2021, at 6:34 P.M., members of the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force Region 6 conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Jarvis Street, in the city of Perris. Deputies contacted Mark Trammel, a 27-year-old resident of Perris. Deputies discovered Trammel was on probation for possession of a firearm.

Fatal Traffic Collision

On Friday January 1, 2021 deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Jurupa Valley Station responded to a major injury, two vehicle traffic collision. Deputies arrived and located an unresponsive female driver in Jeep Cherokee. Life saving measures were performed and she was transported to a local hospital via ambulance.

House votes to override Trump’s veto of defense bill

The Democratic-controlled House voted overwhelmingly Monday to override President Donald Trump's veto of a defense policy bill, setting the stage for what would be the first veto override of his presidency. House members voted 322-87 to override the veto, well above the two-thirds needed to override.
