SANDY HOOK, N.J. (AP) — To the usual list of foul trash left behind or washed up on beaches around the world, add these: masks and gloves used by people to avoid the coronavirus and then discarded on the sand.

In March 2021, the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station Special Enforcement Team (SET), began an investigation into the sales of narcotics in Lake Elsinore and surrounding communities. During this Investigation, Dennis McBride (age 61) a resident of Lake Elsinore, was identified as a person of interest in the sales of narcotics.

On Tuesday, March 30, 2021, members from the Southwest Agricultural Liaison Unit, Special Enforcement Team (SET), and Homeless Outreach Team (HOT), served a search warrant at an illegal marijuana cultivation operating at a private residence in the unincorporated area of Riverside County know as Winchester. The search warrant was authored in response to citizen complaints about the residence.

SAN FRANCISCO (AP) — The San Francisco school board is poised to reverse a much-criticized decision to purge 44 schools of names it said were linked to racism, sexism or other injustices, a turnaround aimed at avoiding costly litigation and toning down outrage at what critics denounced as ill-timed activism.

A House subcommittee is investigating YouTube Kids, saying the Google-owned video service feeds children inappropriate material in “a wasteland of vapid, consumerist content" so it can serve them ads.
