On Monday, 24,000 Kaiser Permanente nurses and health care workers in the United Nurses Associations of California/Union of Health Care Professionals (UNAC/UHCP) voted by 96 percent to authorize strike action. So - is this “running to the roar” the sound of a souped-up muscle car, or “running to the roar” of a mad crazy person, or “running to the roar” of a jet engine? Surprisingly, none of the above. It’s truly scarier than those - it’s running to the roar of a enormous lion!

Overall, I felt that we were accomplishing a lot in the city and I felt that I had more to do. We’re not finished with what we started. I hope that one full term will help finish it and I can get out and let somebody else come in.
