Suspect Arrested in Mosque Burglaries

On March 17, 2023, at approximately 7:07 PM, Southwest Station deputies responded to an Islamic Center in the 31000 Block of Nicolas Road in the City of Temecula, reference a burglary. It was learned the suspect broke into an interior office door and took a locked box containing money donated to the mosque.

Armed Home Invasion Robbery

On April 11, 2023, about 8:30 a.m., the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station’s Robbery Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) served a search warrant at an apartment in the 15000 block of Perris Boulevard, Moreno Valley. Property belonging to the victim was recovered at the location.

Homicide

The suspect in this case, Paul Galindo, was involved in an Officer Involved Shooting in the city of Redlands, on April 8, 2023, around 10:00 a.m. Galindo was taken to a local hospital where he is being treated and is in stable condition. Upon his discharge from the hospital, Galindo will be arrested for murder, and booked into a Riverside County jail.
