During a late Tuesday afternoon news conference in Orange County, fire officials confirmed the Airport Fire had jumped to the south side of Ortega Highway in Riverside County near the area of the notorious Decker Fire that killed six firefighters more than six decades ago.

Four men were recently charged in connection with a string of thefts across Southern California in which over $50,000 worth of air conditioning units were stolen from new home construction sites, according to police, who said the probe was led by investigators in southwest Riverside County.

A pastor is accused of sexually abusing two young boys in Riverside over several years, and detectives believe there may be others who have yet to come forward, according to police.
