Search Warrant Service/Assault with a Firearm Arrest

On August 24, 2020, about 7:20 AM, deputies assigned to the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT) with the assistance of other Thermal Station teams, served two search warrants.  The search warrants stemmed from an assault with a deadly weapon investigation in which a firearm was used. 

During the course of the search warrant on the 84800 block of Calle Lya, Jesus Robollar-Miranda, 23 of Coachella refused to exit the residence.  Riverside County Sheriff’s Department SWAT responded.  At 11:00 AM, Jesus surrendered to SWAT personnel without incident. During a search of the residence several firearms along with ammunition was located.  Jesus was arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon, conspiracy to commit a crime and possession of a stolen vehicle.  Juan Lucero-Guitian, 25 of Coachella was arrested and booked for assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy to commit a crime.
