What improvements would you like to see at Valley-Wide parks?

Date:

Valley-Wide Recreation and Park District will be applying for grant funding through the California Statewide Parks Program with hopes to enhance four parks within our boundaries.

They will be holding a series of virtual workshops to gain public input on what residents would like to see at Bill Gray Park and Jerry Searl Sports Park in Hemet, Regional Park in San Jacinto and Winchester Trails Park in Winchester.

Participants will be asked: What new features, amenities and improvements would you like to see? What safety opportunities and challenges do you see? Are there any beautification or public art features that would add to your enjoyment of these parks?

Public input is extremely important if we hope to be awarded funding in this highly competitive process. To join them in a virtual meeting and share your thoughts, email fun@gorecreation.org and we will send a link.

MEETINGS

Tuesday, Dec. 1, 6 p.m., Overview of all four projects

Wednesday, Dec. 2, 5 p.m., Regional and Jerry Searl parks

Wednesday, Dec. 2, 6 p.m., Bill Gray Park

Thursday, Dec 3, 6 p.m., Winchester Trails Park

-Craig Shultz, public information officer
