Firearm and Stolen Vehicle Recovered During Search Warrant

On September 30, 2021 at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Region 4 Murrieta-Temecula Regional Gang Task Force and members of the Murrieta Police Department’s Special Enforcement Team (SET) served a search warrant at a residence in the 40700 block of Vista Murrieta Road in the city of Murrieta. Detectives located a shotgun and a reported stolen vehicle as a result of the warrant service. Detectives arrested a male resident Armando Gonzales for an outstanding felony warrant. Gonzales is a convicted felon and is prohibited from owning a shotgun. Additional weapons charges will be filed on him. Gonzales was booked into jail on felony charges. Another adult resident was arrested for having several outstanding misdemeanor warrants.
