Stalking and Weapons Investigation Leads to Arrest

On March 8, 2022, at 7:00 A.M., deputies assigned to the Coachella Community Action Team (CCAT), with the assistance of the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force (CVVCGTF), served a search warrant at two residences located in the 49-300 block of Polk Street in the city of Coachella. The search warrant stemmed from a stalking and weapons investigation CCAT was conducting. During the search warrant service, a loaded shotgun and handgun were located and seized. Arrested was Adan Ramon Hernandez, 26 of Coachella, for being a prohibited person in possession of a firearm, stalking, felony vandalism, and violation of a domestic violence restraining order.

Hernandez was also arrested for outstanding arrest warrants for vandalism and violation of a domestic violence restraining order. Hernandez was booked at the John Benoit Detention Center in the city of Indio.
