On February 18, 2022, at 1:15 AM, a residential burglary occurred at the 18000 block of Gentian Avenue in the unincorporated area of Riverside County. The Perris Station Robbery and Burglary Suppression Team (RBST) assumed the investigation. A suspicious vehicle was identified, Matthew Corn 39-years-old was the registered owner of the vehicle, Corn was on PRCS probation, and was recently arrested by the Riverside Police Department on an unrelated charge. On March 3, 2022, RBST authored a search warrant for Corn’s vehicle and storage unit in Riverside. The victim’s property was located in the vehicle and storage unit. RBST also located a small Honey Oil Lab in the storage unit. The lab was collected as evidence. Corn was arrested for the charges in this case.
