Suspect Arrest in Possession of Loaded Firearms

On Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 7:22 p.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of several males using drugs in their vehicles near the 24000 block of Cottonwood Avenue in the City of Moreno Valley. As deputies approached the vehicles, several males ran, and one of the males dropped a loaded firearm. Deputies chased the suspect and were able to detain Bryant Spencer, a 19-year-old resident of Moreno Valley. A further search of the two vehicles revealed three additional loaded firearms, including a rifle. As a result of the investigation, search warrants were authored for two different locations nearby, and an additional firearm was recovered. Spencer was arrested and booked into the Robert Presley Detention Center for various felony weapon charges.
