Arrest In Homicide Investigation

On Thursday, August 4, at approximately 8:49 pm, the Hemet Public Safety Communications Center received a call requesting a welfare check on an elderly female in a residence in the 1900 block of Calle Amargosa. Officers arrived at the location and entered the residence, discovering a deceased elderly female with visible assault injuries.

The victim of the homicide has been identified as 81-year-old Lee Tucker of Hemet. The Hemet Police Department’s investigation has led to the arrest of the victim’s son, 57-year-old Ricardo Tucker of Hemet.

This is still an active investigation.
