Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Details:

On April 6, 2023, at 9:02 am, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of an assault with a deadly weapon in the 25300 block of El Greco Drive. Upon arrival, deputies located a 49-year-old Hispanic female victim who was not injured. The suspect was identified as 54-year-old Jessie Chaidez, a resident of Moreno Valley. The suspect barricaded himself inside the residence and refused to exit. With the assistance of the Riverside Sheriff’s Special Enforcement Team, the suspect was placed under arrest without incident.

The suspect was later booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for terrorist threats and an outstanding no-bail felony warrant.
