Update:

The Moreno Valley Special Enforcement Team (SET) identified the suspect as Juan Chavarria, 29-year-old resident of Jurupa Valley. On May 5, 2023, Moreno Valley SET located Chavarria in the city of Jurupa Valley and arrested him without incident. Chavarria was later booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center for assault with a deadly weapon.

Details:

On March 25, 2023, at 9:03 am, deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Moreno Valley Station responded to the report of a stabbing in the 24100 block of Sunnymead Boulevard Moreno Valley. Upon arrival, deputies located a 27-year-old white male suffering from a stab wound.

As a result, the victim was transported to a local area hospital. The investigation is ongoing, and no additional information is available at this time.
