Details:

On Sunday, April 2, 2023, at 12:55 AM, Moreno Valley deputies responded to 24700 block of Sunnymead Boulevard reference an unknown trouble call. A few minutes later, dispatch received a “shots heard” call in the same area. Deputies arrived within minutes and observed a large gathering at the location. As deputies proceeded to handle the call, they heard numerous gunshots coming from within the large crowd that gathered for the event. After the gunshots, deputies observed numerous individuals fleeing the area on foot and in vehicles. During a search of the property, deputies located four victims. Two male adults and two male juveniles, who all sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds. All victims were transported to a local hospital for medical treatment. The investigation is on-going and no additional information is available at this time.
