On April 11, 2022, at 3:01 p.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to several calls regarding a shooting on the 27000 block of Brodiaea Ave., in Moreno Valley. Upon arriving, deputies located a male juvenile victim suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he remains in intensive care. A description of the suspect was obtained and the suspect was identified as Willie Lee Clark Jr., an 18-year-old resident of Moreno Valley. Clark was later located by deputies. Crime scenes were secured, and Investigators from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station and the Central Homicide Unit responded to assume the investigation. Willie Lee Clark Jr. was later booked into jail for attempt murder. The investigation is on-going.
