Mail-in ballots for the March 5 election have started to arrive and in Riverside County are causing some confusion. Some residents are having trouble seeing the ovals, or bubbles, printed next to candidates’ names, and said they aren’t sure how to mark their choices.

On Friday, February 16, 2024, following a weeks-long narcotics sales investigation, the Perris City and Perris County Special Enforcement Teams arrested 43-year-old Miguel Angel Lopez, a resident of Perris, for fentanyl sales.

On February 16, 2024, at about 4:44 p.m., deputies from the Southwest Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of a major injury traffic collision near Rancho California Road and Margarita Road in the city of Temecula.
