Homicide (Update)

During the course of this investigation, a fourth suspect was identified and arrested. On October 27, 2023, the Major Crimes Unit served a search warrant in the 74200 block of Erin Street, Palm Desert. During the search warrant service, Conner Turley, an 18-year-old resident of Palm Desert, was arrested for murder.

Residential Burglary

On Saturday, October 28, 2023, at 7:15 a.m., deputies assigned to the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station responded to a residential burglary. While responding to the location, dispatch advised two subjects were seen with bolt cutters forcing entry into the residence.

Fatal Traffic Collision

On October 28, 2023, at 3:26 a.m., deputies assigned to the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a call of a major injury traffic collision on Country Village Road, north of Veseda Way.

Assault with a Deadly Weapon

On Friday, October 27, 2023, at about 2320 hours, deputies assigned to Lake Elsinore Station responded to an assault with a deadly weapon call near Calcutta Drive and Canyon Lake Drive in Canyon Lake. Upon arrival, deputies located a victim with a single gunshot wound and was transported to an area hospital for a non-life threatening injury.
