MSJC NAMES REBECCA TEAGUE VICE PRESIDENT OF STUDENT SERVICES
Mt. San Jacinto College is pleased to announce that Rebecca Teague has been selected to serve as the District’s new Vice President of Student Services. Ms. Teague, who has been serving as interim Vice President of Student Services at MSJC for two years, began in the permanent position on Monday, July 24.
Majority of VA health care facilities receive 4 or 5 stars in CMS quality ratings, outperforming non-VA facilities
The Department of Veterans Affairs announced that 67% of VA hospitals included in the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) annual Overall Hospital Quality Star Ratings received either 4 or 5 stars, compared to only 41% of non-VA hospitals. This was the first time VA hospitals were included in the CMS Star Ratings.
Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested
On July 25, 2023 at approximately 2:40 AM, Southwest Station deputies responded to a business in the 44500 Block of Bedford Court in the City of Temecula, reference an armed robbery and the report of someone being shot at the location.
Homicide
The victim in this homicide investigation has been identified as Jorge Alberto Delgado-Urista, 31-year-old, transient male of the Perris area. Jewelry Store Robbery Suspects Apprehended
On July 25, 2023, at approximately 5:14 PM, deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station responded to the 72-800 block of Highway 111 in the city of Palm Desert regarding an assault with a deadly weapon.
