On July 25, 2023 at approximately 2:40 AM, Southwest Station deputies responded to a business in the 44500 Block of Bedford Court in the City of Temecula, reference an armed robbery and the report of someone being shot at the location.

The victim in this homicide investigation has been identified as Jorge Alberto Delgado-Urista, 31-year-old, transient male of the Perris area.  If anyone has information regarding this investigation, they are encouraged to call Investigator D. On July 25, 2023, at approximately 5:14 PM, deputies from the Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station responded to the 72-800 block of Highway 111 in the city of Palm Desert regarding an assault with a deadly weapon.

In 2010, shortly after learning she was pregnant, Jacques’ physicians identified a tumor in her ovaries. It was benign, and Jacques safely carried the pregnancy to term. But she was haunted by the question of what could have led to the health scare in the first place. 

The Department of Veterans Affairs announced that it will conduct a scientific review to determine whether there is a relationship between three conditions — acute leukemias, chronic leukemias, and multiple myeloma outside of the head and neck — and toxic exposures for service members who deployed to Iraq, Afghanistan, Somalia, Djibouti, Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Uzbekistan, and the entire Southwest Asia theater of operations.
