The Department of Veterans Affairs has Specially Adapted Housing Assistive Technology grants available for fiscal year 2022 to develop new technologies that enhance the ability of seriously disabled service members and Veterans to live more independently.

On February 7, 2022, at 03:09 a.m., deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of an unresponsive male subject lying on the ground in the 91800 block of Avenue 66 in Mecca. Upon arrival, deputies located an adult male victim with trauma to his body consistent with a homicide.

On February 6, 2022, around 6:55 P.M., deputies assigned to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Lake Elsinore Station, responded to a major injury traffic collision on Grand Ave. and McVicker Canyon Park Road, in Lake Elsinore.

Inland Empire Health Plan (IEHP) and University of California Riverside (UCR) Athletics are joining forces this season to bring health and wellness resources, including COVID-19 education and vaccine information, to the campus community and broader audiences.

As part of its continued work towards ending Veteran homelessness, the Department of Veterans Affairs is participating in the 2022 Point-in-Time Count led by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development this winter to estimate the number of Veterans living in America without safe, stable housing.
