On Tuesday, February 16, 2021, about 2:39 P.M., San Jacinto Sheriff Station initiated a pursuit of a stolen vehicle. The driver, later identified as Juan Alonso Perez Jr. (28-year-old San Jacinto resident), fled from law enforcement and drove in a reckless manner, including running stop signs and driving into on-coming traffic.
On Friday, February 5, 2021, around 10:27am, deputies responded to Elsinore High School located in the 21000 block of Canyon Dr., Wildomar, in reference to a burglary investigation. School officials had found a subject entered a classroom in the early morning hours on February 4, 2021. Several items were taken from the classroom and items were also damaged.

On Monday, February 15, 2021, Riverside County Sheriff’s Department received a call regarding the brandishing of a firearm in the area of Simon Drive and Highway 111, city of La Quinta. Dispatch received information that an adult male suspect displayed a handgun at the victim and threatened to kill the victim. While deputies were en-route to the location, deputies were advised by dispatch that the suspect vehicle had fled the scene and was traveling westbound on Highway 111.
