School Burglary

On Friday, February 5, 2021, around 10:27am, deputies responded to Elsinore High School located in the 21000 block of Canyon Dr., Wildomar, in reference to a burglary investigation. School officials had found a subject entered a classroom in the early morning hours on February 4, 2021. Several items were taken from the classroom and items were also damaged.

On Monday, February 8, 2021, deputies received a lead in the case and responded to the 15600 block of Grand Avenue, Lake Elsinore. Deputies detained a subject later identified as Ryan Spencer (19), a resident of Lake Elsinore. Spencer was found to have an outstanding felony warrant for burglary. Through their investigation deputies located the stolen property taken from the school burglary.

The property was returned to the school and Spencer was booked into the Cois M. Byrd Detention Center for burglary and his warrants.
