Attempted Carjacking
On May 1, 2023, deputies developed information of the location of David Salcida. Deputies responded to the area of 29000 block of Rawlings Way, Lake Elsinore. Salcida attempted to flee but was apprehended and taken into custody without incident.
Fatal Hit and Run Traffic Collision
On May 1, 2023, at 4:02 AM, a San Jacinto Sheriff Deputy was flagged down on San Jacinto Avenue near Seventh Street regarding a possible traffic collision involving a pedestrian.
Major Injury Traffic Collision
On April 29, 2023, about 1:02 PM, deputies responded to the area of Archibald Avenue and Fairchild Drive, in the city of Eastvale, regarding a single-vehicle roll over traffic collision with the driver trapped inside the overturned vehicle. After removing the driver from the vehicle, he was airlifted to a local hospital for treatment.

On April 28, 2023, at about 12:58 AM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station Sheriff’s Station responded to a traffic collision report on the 14300 Block of Windjammer Drive, in the city of Moreno Valley.
Homicide
On 08/29/16, at 5:02 a.m., deputies assigned to the Southwest Sheriff’s Station were dispatched to an unresponsive female on the 12000 block of Pechanga Road, within the Pechanga Indian Reservation in Temecula.
