Fraud / Impersonating a City of Temecula Official
On March 20, 2023, about 10:15 am, deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Southwest Station responded to a residence located in the 30700 block of San Pasqual Road, Temecula, reference Garret K. Hodson, who claimed to be a draftsman, and a second suspect, who claimed to be a City of Temecula building inspector, located at the residence.
Gang Task Force Arrests Gang Members with Firearms
On Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at 6:45 P.M., the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force, with the assistance of the Palm Desert Special Enforcement Team, conducted an operation that resulted in the arrest of two documented criminal street gang members for firearms-related offenses.
Possession of Stolen Property
On Monday, March 20, at 8:22 AM, Cabazon Station deputies responded to the windmill farm located south of the I-10 Freeway and east of Elm Street in the unincorporated area of Cabazon. Deputies learned the victim tracked their stolen wire to the 9200 block of Allegra in Desert Hot Springs.
Assault with a deadly weapon – Firearm
On March 19, 2023, at about 3:17 p.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff Station responded to a report of a shooting at the parking lot at 12700 block of Moreno Beach Dr, Moreno Valley.
Homicide
During the course of this investigation, the shooting was determined to have occurred during a robbery. During the incident, one of the suspects was the deceased male, identified as Robert Valdez, 30-year-old of Riverside, who was shot by the victim.
