The Riverside Sheriff’s department announce the arrest of a local woman for multiple fraud charges.
According to the Sheriff's release of information on Friday, October 29, 2021, the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department Southwest Station served a fraud related search warrant in the 24000 block of Leafwood Drive in Murrieta.
On Tuesday, November 2, 2021, personnel from the Cabazon Station conducted a traffic stop in the 50000 Block of Main Street for a California Vehicle Code Violation. A probation search of the vehicle yielded multiple firearms and narcotics. Jeremy Abshear, 46, of Desert Hot Springs was taken into custody without further incident.
Three people, including an active duty Air Force member, have been arrested in the killing of a 19-year-old woman who was last seen leaving a Halloween party over the weekend in Northern California, police said.
Deputies conducted a traffic enforcement stop of a vehicle in the area of Lake Park Drive and Ramona Expressway. Mark Anthony McKay was located inside the vehicle and immediately identified himself was a wanted felon. Mark Anthony McKay was arrested for his felony warrants and will be booked into a Riverside County Jail.
Investigators from the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Central Homicide Unit have been working toward developing leads on the death and disposal of the infant in this case. Evidence obtained through this investigation identified the parents of the infant. The investigation is ongoing, and the specifics of the case cannot be released at this time.
