On Monday, November 8th, 2021 at 12:40 P.M., Deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Perris Station, responded to the 17100 block of Hidalgo Dr. in the unincorporated area of Perris regarding a report of an assault with a deadly weapon. Deputies responded and located a victim with a moderate arm injury as a result of being struck with a machete.
On Monday, November 8, 2021 at 8:58 PM, Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station deputies responded to the 5200 block of Trail Canyon Drive, in the city of Jurupa Valley, regarding a domestic disturbance. During the investigation, Jeff Morton, 37 year-old resident of Jurupa Valley, was identified as the suspect and deputies made several attempts to contact him to gain his voluntary compliance; however, he would not comply.
On November 5, 2021, at 10:00 pm deputies from the Moreno Valley Station responded to Elm Avenue and Clover Court to investigate multiple reports of gunfire heard in the area. When deputies arrived, they located an adult male, later identified as, Haitham Arranaga, a 20 year-old from Perris.
On Friday, November 5, 2021, at 11:30 A.M. the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force with the assistance of Rancho Mirage and Indian Wells Special Enforcement Teams served a search warrant at a residence located in the 30000 block of Pauline Avenue in Cathedral City.
