Convicted Felon Arrest Leads to Weapon/Drug Seizure and Stolen Vehicle Recovery
On Wednesday, December 14, 2023, members of the Coachella Valley Violent Crime Gang Task Force conducted follow up investigations into the weapon and drug seizure that occurred on December 13, 2023. Gang Task Force members authored a search warrant for a location in the 78000 block of Country Club Drive, Bermuda Dunes.
Fatal Traffic Collision
On December 13, 2023, at 1:06 a.m., deputies from the Riverside Sheriff’s Southwest Station, responded to the intersection of Winchester Road and Margarita Road in the city of Temecula regarding a single vehicle traffic collision.
Deputy-Involved Shooting
The suspect in this case has been identified as 53-year-old Kelly Lynette Cronn, a resident of Palm Desert. Cronn has been charged with two counts of assault with a deadly weapon on a peace officer and is currently in custody and recovering from her injuries at the Riverside University Health Systems Detention Care Unit.
MVUSD Teacher Arrested for Public Intoxication
On December 9, 2023, at 10:25 a.m., deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the 13000 block of Nason Street, in Moreno Valley, regarding a report of a teacher being intoxicated while on school grounds.
Fatal Traffic Collision (Vehicle vs. Pedestrian / Hit & Run)
On December 9, 2023, at 10:51 p.m., deputies from the Jurupa Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to Van Buren Boulevard, north of 56th Street, in the city of Jurupa Valley, regarding a major injury hit and run traffic collision involving a vehicle versus a pedestrian.
