Details:

On April 30, 2022, at about 6:59 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, Southwest Station, responded to the report of a major injury traffic collision near Jefferson Avenue and Calle Cortez in the city of Temecula.

Accident Investigators from the Southwest Sheriff’s Station responded to the location and assumed the investigation. The preliminary investigation revealed the motorcycle and a Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) were traveling in the same direction. The motorcycle hit the back of the SUV for an unknown reason. The sole occupant of the motorcycle was pronounced deceased at the scene. It is unknown if intoxication played a role in this collision.

The identity of the involved parties will not be released pending further investigation and the notification to next of kin.
