Firearm and Narcotics Arrest

On May 13th, 2021, members of the Corona/Jurupa Valley Regional Gang Task Force, with the assistance of Corona Police Department Special Response and Tactics, Corona UAS, Corona FLEX and Corona Vice and Narcotics teams served a search warrant in the 13000 block of Indiana Ave, Home Gardens.

During the search of the property approximately 115 grams of cocaine, 410 “M30” fentanyl pills, 1.7 pounds of marijuana, a loaded 9mm Smith and Wesson semi auto handgun, over 200 rounds of ammunition and several thousand dollars were located. Alex Ocampo, a documented criminal street gang member, was arrested on various gun and drug related charges. Three other people at the location were arrested for various crimes.

The Riverside County Gang Task Force is a collaborative effort of several law enforcement agencies with the goal of combating criminal street gangs. The Corona/Jurupa Valley Regional Gang Task Force is one of 6 teams which compose the Riverside County Regional Gang Task Force.
