You know the name, but you can’t place it. If you’re any kind of sports fan, you recognize it immediately. Alexander Yepremian’s uncle was an NFL star, and his father was the head of a New York Soccer League.

Alexander is a seasoned theatrical person from his roots up. A native of New York, he has bounced around the theatrical and entertainment world since the age of four when his mother weekly drove him down to Delaware for theatrical training.

He was involved in Broadway shows, such as “Annie,” from an early age. From age 16 to 24, he was Prince Charming at Disney World. He moved to London, where American actors were highly respected, hired an agent, and was soon seen on London stages.

As it would happen, he was somewhat of a nomad. If he didn’t like what he was doing, he would move on. As my grandmother used to say, he had the wanderlust.

In the years following, he found a surrogate who produced a daughter, which changed his whole outlook on life. He was now a family man and loving it. While these things were happening, he took a job singing on cruise ships: Holland America and Princess Cruises. He was offered the job of Cruise Manager. He was not familiar with the job, but as usual, he was a quick learner and accepted the position. His home base throughout this time was London, where he opened and was successful with a restaurant.

However, with a daughter that was his life, he longed for family back in the United States. His mother and brother resided in Hemet, and his ambition was to be close to family, especially his mother. Recently, she became a Board Member at the Historical Hemet. As luck would have it, he was offered employment as General Manager by the Board of Directors, and he accepted.

We are up to date. What about the future? Let Alexander speak for himself.

“I intend to keep some of the tributes the theater has, but there is much new to come. I would like to bring musicals, stage plays, opera, and every kind of entertainment to Hemet. This man is on a mission, and we wish him well. Right on!! Just sayin’.
