Porch Package Theft

On December 17, 2021, the Lake Elsinore Station Special Enforcement Team assumed the investigation into a theft that occurred in the 29000 block of Outrigger Street in the city of Lake Elsinore.    During the investigation, it was discovered, Daniel Rendon, a 23-year-old resident of Lake Elsinore, had stolen a package from the front porch of a residence. 

On December 20, 2021, Rendon was arrested by the Lake Elsinore Special Enforcement Team along with assistance from the Lake Elsinore Station Traffic team. Rendon was transported to Cois Byrd Detention Center and booked on numerous theft related charges.

This is an ongoing investigation.  Anyone with additional information is encouraged to contact Deputy Tran of the Lake Elsinore Sheriff’s Station at (951) 245-3300.
