On March 02, 2023, at about 9:47 PM, deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, assigned to the Cabazon Station, responded to a parking lot in the 49000 block of Seminole Drive, Cabazon, reference a subject passing counterfeit bills. The subject fled the area in a blue Mazda with a Utah license plate. Deputies located the vehicle and detained Lennox Lupeli, a 29-year-old from the City of Riverside.

The investigation revealed, Lupeli, had a warrant for his arrest and was found to be in possession of several hundred dollars in counterfeit bills, along with suspected fentanyl. Lupeli was taken into custody for his warrant, drug possession and possession of counterfeit bills.
