Ramona Bowl Hosts Annual Pancake Breakfast and Golf Fundraiser at Golden Era Golf Course

The Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre in Hemet, home of the longest-running outdoor play in the United States, Ramona, and the official State Outdoor Play of California, held its annual fundraising event on the first Sunday of December at the Golden Era Golf Course.

The event featured a pancake breakfast, golf and toy giveaway, all designed to raise funds and increase awareness for the historic Ramona Bowl and its iconic production, “Ramona”.  Attendees enjoyed a festive morning filled with community spirit, good food, and family-friendly activities.

The Director of Ramona was on hand to share exciting news, announcing that auditions for speaking roles will be held in January, with full details to be posted on the Ramona Bowl website.

Members of the Ramona Bowl Board of Directors were actively involved throughout the event, working side by side—from grilling and cooking to donating pancake mix and eggs. The Board includes:

The breakfast was well attended and featured an impressive value: pancakes, eggs, sausage, orange juice, and coffee for just $6.00. Golfers enjoyed a spirited round of golf and breakfast for only $25, making it an exceptional deal.

Special guests included San Jacinto Mayor Valerie Vandever, who attended alongside costumed Cowboys from the Ramona play, adding to the lively atmosphere.

Families and children were delighted by a visit from Santa Claus (Chuck Robinson), who posed for photos in front of a beautifully decorated Christmas tree.
