Serial Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested

On August 04, 2023, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of an armed robbery at a gas station in the 24000 block of John F. Kennedy Drive, Moreno Valley. Upon arrival, deputies checked the area but could not locate the suspect. The Moreno Valley Station’s Robbery Burglary Suppression Team also responded and assumed the investigation. During the course of the investigation, the suspect was identified as Wesley Hall, a 21-year-old resident of Moreno Valley. It was also determined that Hall was responsible for two additional armed robberies in Moreno Valley and one additional armed robbery in the unincorporated area of Riverside County known as Cabazon. The additional robberies occurred between April 2023 through August 2023.

On August 21, 2023, Moreno Valley Station Special Enforcement Team deputies located Hall in the area of Perris Boulevard and Filaree Avenue, Moreno Valley, where he was taken into custody without incident. Hall was later booked at the Robert Presley Detention Center on four counts of armed robbery.
