Riverside University Health System (RUHS) received a $625,000 grant from the Office of Statewide Health Planning and Development (OSHPD) to expand access to primary care, making it the only hospital in the Inland Empire to win the full award. On Nov. 3, 2020 the Riverside County Public Health Officer and the California Department of Public Health has approved the Corona-Norco Unified School District’s TK-6 Waiver application to reopen elementary schools for in-person instruction. This is the first waiver approved for a public school district in Riverside County.
