Pedestrian and Bicycle Safety Operation
Riverside County Sheriff’s department will conduct a bicycle and pedestrian safety operation July 26, 2021 from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. aimed at keeping people out exercising or enjoying the outdoors safe.
Major Injury Traffic Collision
On April 28, 2021, at 8:15 PM, deputies responded to the area of Perris Blvd. and Sunnymead Blvd., Moreno Valley, regarding a major injury traffic collision. Upon arrival, deputies discovered the collision involved a vehicle versus an adult male pedestrian. The pedestrian was transported to a local hospital with significant injuries.
Fatal Hit and Run Collision
On Sunday, June 21, 2020, at about 2:00 AM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of a pedestrian down in the middle of the roadway on Fir Avenue near Cognac Lane, Moreno Valley.
