On December 26, 2020, at about 4:01 a.m., deputies from the Lake Elsinore Station were dispatched to a report of a shooting at a residence in the 37000 block of Calle de Lobo, La Cresta. Upon arrival, deputies made contact with two uninjured male residents. They were directed inside where deputies found four males with gunshot wounds.

On Thursday, December 17, 2020, at approximately 5:22 P.M, personnel from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, San Jacinto Sheriff Station, responded to a shooting that just occurred near the intersection of Hewitt Street and Esplanade Avenue, in the City of San Jacinto.

On November 20th, 2020, at 8:39 pm, deputies attempted to perform a traffic stop on a vehicle occupied by a subject who was suspected of driving under the influence near the area of Lark Haven Dr. and Goldfinch St., in the city of Moreno Valley. When deputies activated the emergency lights on their marked Sheriff’s unit, the driver of the vehicle failed to stop, and a vehicle pursuit began.

A 36-year-old man was shot and killed at a shopping center in the city of Hemet after being chased by two individuals Monday evening, police said.

A caregiver for an elderly woman was accused of accidentally shooting a gun while intoxicated, killing the woman, police said Saturday, Oct. 10.
