Further investigation in this collision determined that the male driver, identified as Josue Ayala Flores, a 33 year-old resident of San Bernardino, was driving recklessly prior to the collision and he was suspected to be driving under the influence of alcohol. Ayala Flores is also on active parole. On Sunday, September 27, 2020, Ayala Flores was arrested and booked into a local county jail for four counts of Gross Vehicular Manslaughter and one count of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol - Causing Great Bodily Injury. He is being held in custody on $4’000,000 bail.

On Sunday, August 23rd, 2020, at 2:05 a.m., deputies from the Riverside County Sheriff’s Department, San Jacinto Station, responded to Ramona Boulevard and Lyon Avenue, regarding a single vehicle traffic collision. Deputies located a vehicle in a field on the north edge of Ramona Boulevard.

On August 17, 2020, at about 9:38 PM, deputies from the Moreno Valley Sheriff’s Station responded to the report of a Fatal Traffic Collision on Perris Boulevard near Alessandro Boulevard. Callers reported a subject was run over by multiple cars. Deputies arrived on scene an confirmed a male was deceased in the roadway.

At 2:05 am, Wanted Suspect - Domingo Cruz was located by Riverside County Sheriff’s Southwest Patrol Deputies in the 30000 Block of Rancho California Road, Temecula, and arrested for possession of a firearm and an active Felony Hit and Run warrant for his arrest. On Tuesday, July 28, 2020, about 2:25 AM, deputies from the Jurupa Valley Station responded to a report of a single vehicle traffic collision, on Mission Boulevard north of Highway 60, Jurupa Valley.
