Unattended Death Investigation Leads to Homicide Arrest

Details:

On March 17, 2022, at 4:04 p.m., deputies from the Thermal Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of an unattended death on the 51200 block of Avenida Ramirez., in La Quinta. Upon arriving, deputies located Rosemary Webster, 85-year-old resident of La Quinta deceased. Deputies noticed unexplained injuries to the victim which were inconsistent with statements made. A crime scene was secured and the Central Homicide Unit responded to assume the investigation.

Based on evidence and interviews conducted by investigators, Sally M. Webster, 59-year-old resident of La Quinta, was arrested for homicide. The investigation is on-going.
