What’s open and closed on Juneteenth in the Inland Empire

GOVERNMENT OFFICES: Federal, Riverside city and San Bernardino County offices will be closed on Thursday. State, Riverside County and most city offices will be open on Thursday.

MAIL DELIVERY: Mail will not be delivered Thursday.

FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS: Will be closed Thursday.

STORES: Most major stores and supermarkets will be open Thursday.

PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION:

Riverside Transit Agency, Dial-A-Ride will not operate on Thursday. The Customer Information Center and administrative office will be closed. Regular service will resume on Friday.

Omnitrans, Foothill Transit and Metrolink will run on a regular schedule Thursday.

LIBRARIES: Most libraries will be closed Thursday.

SCHOOLS AND COLLEGES: Not in session.

TRASH PICKUP: City of Riverside Solid Waste Trash and Recycling Services, Burrtec Solid Waste (city of Riverside) will not have service Thursday. Pickup will be delayed by one day. Waste Management of the Inland Empire, Burrtec, CR&R and CAL Disposal will offer regular service. Riverside County and San Bernardino County landfills will be open.
