Runaway Juveniles

On Tuesday, September 1st, 2020, The Riverside County Anti-Human Trafficking Task Force (RCAHT) assumed an investigation regarding two runaway juveniles. On Saturday, August 29, 2020, Zulema Rubi Amezcua-Delval, 14 years, and Julissa Garcia, 15 years, ran away from their home from the city San Jacinto, California.

Shooting at an Inhabited Dwelling

On Sunday, August 30, 2020, about 9:00 PM, deputies from the Cabazon Station were dispatched to a report of gunshots in the 35000 block of Mesa Grande, Calimesa. When deputies arrived, they learned Michael Mariscal (21-years-old from Banning) discharged a firearm inside one of the residences.

Driving Under the Influence (DUI) Checkpoint Planned – September 5th, 2020

City of San Jacinto, Calif. – The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department / San Jacinto Station will hold a Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and Driver’s License Checkpoint on Saturday, September 5th, from 6:00 pm to 1:00 am at an undisclosed location within city limits.

Stolen Car Recovered and Suspects Arrested

On August 31, 2020, at 7:20 PM, Wildomar deputies responded to Lemon Street and Blondon Court, Wildomar, regarding a suspicious vehicle call. Deputies arrived and located a gray Kia Optima. Deputies discovered the Kia was a stolen vehicle from Wildomar.

On Monday, August 31, 2020, at 10:39 AM a carjacking at gunpoint was reported in the area of Avenue 78 and Fillmore Street, within the unincorporated area of Thermal.
